Wellry AI ("we", "our", or "us") is a metabolic health and wellness application developed by Swapnil Pawar ("Developer"), based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Wellry AI mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Full name, email address, and profile photo (collected during sign-up or Google Sign-In)
- Authentication tokens managed securely via Firebase Authentication
2.2 Health & Medical Data
- Glucose readings — blood sugar levels you manually enter
- Blood pressure readings — systolic and diastolic values you manually enter
- Body weight — entered manually for tracking purposes
- Blood lab reports — PDF files you upload; our system extracts parameters such as cholesterol, thyroid, HbA1c, CBC, etc.
2.3 Diet & Nutrition Data
- Meals you log, including food names, portion sizes, and macronutrients (calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates)
- Photos of food captured using your device camera for automatic meal recognition
- Recipes you create or save within the App
2.4 Supplement & Medication Data
- Supplement names, dosage, timing, and notes you enter
2.5 Reminder & Notification Data
- Reminder titles, schedules, and preferences you configure
2.6 Device & Technical Data
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and error logs (used for debugging only)
- App usage patterns (screens visited, features used)
2.7 Community Data
- Posts, comments, and reactions you submit to the community feed
- Likes and interactions with other users' content
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Camera Permission
The App requests access to your device camera solely to:
- Photograph meals for automatic nutritional recognition using AI
Camera images are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers permanently unless you explicitly save a meal log. Images are never shared with third parties for advertising.
5. Location
The App does not request or collect your device location, in the foreground or the background.
6. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on cloud infrastructure
- All data transmission between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage
- Blood lab report PDFs are processed server-side and stored linked to your account only
- We implement access controls to prevent unauthorised access to your data
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited cases:
- Firebase (Google) — for authentication and crash reporting
- Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, users will be notified
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
- If you delete your account, all personal and health data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Anonymised, aggregated data (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained for product improvement

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
